Racism comes in various forms and can be experienced multiple times in a single day. Sometimes it’s very easy to spot and call out, other times, not so much or it may be felt to be too uncomfortable/vulnerable of a time/place to do so. Whatever your experience may be, racism can have a weathering impact on an individual’s mental health, feel exhausting, eat away at your self-confidence and identity.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Take part in yoga to release stress and learn to empower your mental well-being in the face of racial fatigue
  • A chance to connect with other locals over shared experiences in an unfiltered, safe space
  • Engage, explore and gain access to culturally competent mental health service providers
  • Discover vital self-awareness techniques to protect your mental health and explore ways to address racism

Please wear loose clothing! Water and refreshments will be provided.
