March 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free
event poster for understanding generational trauma

Have you ever thought of the patterns, beliefs, traditions, behaviour or sayings that we repeat throughout our life, which are deeply rooted through our generational timeline? Well, generational trauma impacts individuals and families through economic, cultural and familial distress. What’s scary is often, the trauma is not seen as a trauma, but a way of life. What are the prolonged impacts of generational trauma? Let’s discover together.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A supportive, culturally competent space to explore your own personal challenges
  • A chance to connect with other locals over experiences in an unfiltered, safe space
  • Engage, explore and gain access to culturally competent mental health service providers
  • Discover vital self-awareness to protect your mental health and explore ways to overcome

Water and light refreshments will be provided.

WHY IS THIS EVENT FREE?
